LIVE SYSTEM MONITOR

See everything your Android device is doing.

power-tv is a local-first system monitor inspired by btop. CPU, GPU, thermal, memory, battery and processes — refreshed every second, all on your device.

Everything at a glance

Every metric is sampled on-device and presented with Material 3.

One-second dashboard

Live status and 60-sample sparklines for CPU, GPU, thermal and memory.

CPU, core by core

Total and per-core load, online cores, current and max frequency, and the CPU model.

GPU when exposed

Best-effort utilization and frequency from Adreno, Mali and devfreq sysfs nodes.

Thermal awareness

Public thermal APIs, readable sensors, battery fallback and platform thermal status.

Memory at a glance

Used, total, available, cached and swap — sampled from /proc/meminfo.

Battery detail

Level, charging state, temperature, voltage and current from the system broadcast.

Process explorer

Readable processes sortable by memory or CPU, with clear visibility limits.

Device facts

Manufacturer, model, Android version, hardware, ABI, uptime and online core count.

Read straight from the system

power-tv reads public Android APIs and readable sysfs nodes. No metric is uploaded.

MetricSourceNotes
CPU/proc/stat, cpufreq sysfs, optional ShizukuTotal and per-core load, current and max frequency. Some fields need Shizuku.
GPUAdreno, Mali and devfreq sysfsBest effort. Not every device exposes utilization or frequency.
ThermalAndroid thermal APIs, thermal zones, battery broadcastReadable sensors only; falls back to battery temperature.
Memory/proc/meminfoUsed, available, cached and swap.
BatteryBatteryManager broadcastLevel, charging state, temperature, voltage and current.
Processes/proc and Android APIsOnly processes visible to the app are listed.

Availability depends on the device, kernel and Android version.

PRIVACY

No network permission. No telemetry.

The app declares no INTERNET permission. Metrics are sampled and rendered on your device, and nothing leaves it. Shizuku is optional and only used when you grant access.
